SUPER-RICH
EMPLOYER LOCKS OUT WORKERS
They have it all - and yet still
want more.
The rich and powerful ANSA McAL
Group of Companies made $323,000,000 profit in 2002 - the last year of their
public accounts. In 2003 they declared an even higher profit.
How sad, then, to see them
wasting their shareholders money in locking out workers. But they can afford it.
The 2002 Annual Report of the
ANSA McAL Group saw profits increase by 13.7% over the previous year.
"Our earnings per share
increased from $1.10 to $1.24, an improvemnt of 12.7%, which exceeded all
forcasts" says the Report.
Life was rosy for the
shareholder.
In 2002 share prices improved by
38% and with a total dividend of 62 cents per share, "shareholders would
have benefited with a 44% return on their investment" boasts the
Report.
