CARIB SNUBS MINISTER

Last Thursday the Minister of Labour tried to get Carib to meet with him to resolve the lock-out. He had already seen the NUGFW and wanted to talk to the employers.

To the amazment of the NUGFW - but perhaps not to our surprise - Carib said they were too busy and couldn’t come.

In fact, they couldn’t come and see the Minister until Tuesday 1st June - some six days later! And wouldn’t you just be surpirsed to know that they’ve postponed again until the next day.

If you are happy locking-out workers and don’t want to see a solution then this is the way to go.

How often have we said - it’s not about wages, it’s about smashing the Union. Nuff said!
